Animals have the same basic emotions as humans

Animals have the same basic emotions as humans, but there are some differences. The main difference between animal emotions and human emotions is that animals don’t have mixed emotions (for example, love-hate relationships with each other) the way most humans do. That’s why animals are loyal. If they love you, they love you no matter what.

A ‘canine example’ of unconditional love: Polly (a Dalmatian dog)

It’s funny, because both the females, Polly and the Woman (aka Wife of Polly’s Man), love their Man very much, but they express it so differently. For example, the later he comes home from work, the happier Polly is to see him, whereas his Wife seems to have the opposite feeling. Why is she always angry when her Man is late? Polly cannot understand that.

  1. Animals live ‘in the moment’ and appreciate the ‘now,’ whereas humans spend most of their time reflecting on the past or planning (or worrying) about the future. The present moment is lost or ignored. Animals are happier because they do not worry about the past or the future…We could learn a lot from them 😄
